Might as well tackle some of the standards around here. This is another recipe used for the Casa Noble night that I wanted to post since its so damn good. I always whip this up since its quick and requires no cooking and always is devoured by our group of ravenous wolves…I mean friends. For some reason it’s so simple it always falls from my mind to post up here.


2 ripe avocado’s
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 of a red onion, chopped
1-2 Jalapeno’s, chopped
1/4 c  cilantro, chopped
1/2 Lime, juiced
Sprinkle of ground cumin


-Chop all of the ingredients and put them into my super large mortar (technically its a Molcajete since its a big piece of rough stone).
-Cut the avocado in half and using the knife carefully remove the pit. Take a large spoon and remove the flesh from the husk.
-Add the avocado and mash using the pestle or tejolote
-Serve in the Molcajete since it looks BA
